Wales Care Awards 2009

One of our Respite Support Staff, Ken Deacon, has been awarded gold in the prestigious Wales Care Awards 2009, sponsored by Care Forum Wales. The award was won in the catagory of "Leading Practice in Learning Disability Services"

Annette Edwards, Support Team Manager for Respite Services recieves the award on Ken's behalf.

Gwenda Thomas AM (Deputy Minister for Health and Social Services) supports the Care Awards.

OHT and Local Authority managers, together with Family Carer Mrs Hughes and Daughter Nicola, help celebrate Ken's success.
