Our Core Values
As an organisation we have developed some key values which we believe are fundamental to our ethos and culture, namely;

• Operating as a non profit making registered charity

Some people we support require minimal input, perhaps getting help with household budgeting whilst others require help and support 24 hours a day with things such as making meals, washing and personal care, dressing, all household tasks, leisure pursuits, holidays and other day to day activities.

Since being established we have demonstrated: 

• Innovative practice
• Expertise in providing support to people with autistic spectrum disorders
• A range of policies and procedures that are responsive to the needs of the people we support
• Developing services in local communities for people who would otherwise be in institutional care
• Working with the Assembly to influence and shape legislation affecting the lives of people with learning difficulties

Presently our services are commissioned by the following authorities:

• Cardiff County Council
• Vale of Glamorgan County Council
• Bridgend County Borough Council
• Caerphilly County Council
• Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council

We work with a number of the other providers mainly in relation to lobbying with the Welsh Assembly and on issue related groups set up by the various local authorities. There is a lot of informal joint working between organisations mainly at Senior Management Level and closer links are being developed in areas such as joint training and service development.
